Dennis is a Marine Corps veteran with a diverse background in healthcare and research. After serving in the military, Dennis pursued his passion for healthcare by obtaining a Master's degree in Sports Medicine. He spent several years as a biomechanics researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, where he contributed to various research projects focused on injury prevention and performance enhancement.
Driven by a desire to make a direct impact on patient care, Dennis transitioned to nursing and pursued an accelerated program to attain his bachelor’s degree in nursing. He began his nursing career working at the bedside, gaining experience in a variety of settings including oncology, medical, surgical, and transplant units. Dennis found his niche in adult critical care, where he currently works as a critical care nurse, providing expert care to critically ill patients.
